PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up pipe device for a shielding screen capable of permitting to easily take up a shielding screen made of thin wooden members and also making the attaching position of the shielding screen invariable even though the take-up pipe device is rotated in the same unreeling direction after the shielding screen is fully unreeled from the take-up pipe device. SOLUTION: The shielding screen 14 comprises many thin wooden (or bamboo) members 15 connected together in an up to down direction with woven threads 16; and one end of the shielding screen 14 is attached to the take-up pipe device 12 with its both ends supported in a rotatable manner by attaching pieces 24. Each of the attaching pieces 24 comprises an attaching portion 24a attached to the take-up pipe device 12; a bent portion 24b bent from an end portion of the attaching portion, inserted between thin wooden (or bamboo) members 15, 15 located at one end of the shielding screen 14 and linked to a bent portion 24b in a groove 12a formed to the take-up pipe device 12; and a projected portion 24c being extended further from the position of the bent portion 24b away from the attaching portion 24a and being arranged at an outer diameter side of a part of the shielding screen 14 at another end side away from the inserting position of the bent portion 24b.
