PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a wind load, and to suppress Karman vortex shedding. SOLUTION: A passage (2) is supported on an almost horizontally elongated girder (1). A flow straightening airspace (7) is formed between the girder (1) and the passage (2). Grating is formed in the passage (2). A wind passing through the flow straightening airspace is subjected to a flow straightening action. The flow straightening action suppresses the Karman vortex shedding and the vortex shedding of the girder, so as to suppress the swing of the passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
