PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge launching method and a control system for launching a bridge beam capable of reducing an installation time by continuously launching without stopping. SOLUTION: When a plurality of launching carts comprise a plurality of vertical jacks and send out the bridge beam while supporting the bridge beam, the reactions of the vertical jacks are sent out and compared with each other for each cart, the vertical jack having the largest absolute value of a difference between the reaction and a design value set arbitrarily is selected. When the reaction of the selected vertical jack exceeds a prescribed control value, the stroke of the vertical jack is automatically adjusted. The load adjusting capacity of the vertical jack against the variation of a load applied to the vertical jack is determined (S26), and the running speed of the launching cart is switched (S31).
