PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe conveyor capable of preventing occurrence of trouble such as cutting of a conveyance chain and damage of functional parts of a device in the pipe conveyor. SOLUTION: This pipe conveyor is provided with a main driving motor 17 for driving the conveyance chain 13 arranged in a pipe casing through a main driving wheel 16 and an auxiliary driving motor 19 for driving the other sections of the conveyance chain 13 through an auxiliary driving wheel 18. Chain transfer speed by the main driving motor 17 and chain transfer speed by the auxiliary driving motor 19 are controlled in synchronization by a control means 21. The main driving motor 17 drives at fixed target speed, and the control means 21 controls the auxiliary driving motor 19 by an inverter so as to change speed. At this time, the control means 21 detects a load current value consumed by the auxiliary driving motor 19 and feed-back controls rotation speed of the auxiliary driving motor 19 so that the load current value is within a set scope.
