<p>Electrically evoked vestibulo-ocular monitoring for assessment of comatose patients by electrical stimulation of the vestibular system of a patient using a vestibular stimulator, with the resultant eye movements of the patient recorded with the help of video-oculography in order to permit an analysis of the eye movement resulting from a given stimulation. An estimation of patient condition can be made based on the analysis.</p> |
