<p>Implantable hearing aid comprises a piezoelectric transducer (1) mounted on the inside of a thin plate (2) supported by a stable housing (3). The outside of the plate is coupled to an ossicle, and the housing is mounted on a flat surface in the middle ear cavity. Implantable hearing aid comprises a hermetically sealed container made of biocompatible material containing a piezoelectric transducer (1) that receives an electrical signal representative of sound vibrations and converts the electrical signal into a mechanical vibration and transmits this to an ossicle. The transducer is mounted on the inside of a thin plate (2) supported by a stable housing (3), the outside of the plate is coupled to an ossicle, and the housing is mounted on a flat surface in the middle ear cavity.</p> |
