<p>A simple method for thermally cladding rectangular cross section air ducts has the inner duct fitted with thermal insulation and secured by outer panels joined by flanges. The panels can be flat, L-shaped, U-shaped or a combination of these profiles. Some of the edges are lipped (9) and all the edges are provided with lines of fastening holes. The end flanges have a fixed flange (6) at one end and with corner cut-outs (8) at the other end to splay outwards and fit over the adjacent section.</p> |
