<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue scraper and brush device particularly effective and easy to use in cleaning the tongue. <P>SOLUTION: The tongue scraper and brush device 10 includes a handle 12, a head 14, a neck 16 located therebetween, a scraper rib upstanding from a scraper face, and a row of bristle tufts upstanding from the bristle face. The head is provided with a top member having opposite brush and scraper faces. Two or more rows of ribs and two or more rows of bristle tufts or elastomeric finger-like protrusions may be used, and a longitudinal opening may be provided between adjacent rows of ribs and tufts.
