<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for dynamically changing the same user's access authority depending on an operational phase by setting the access control level of a storage device independently of a server operating environment. <P>SOLUTION: This storage network system 1 includes a server 100, a storage device 300, and a management server 400. A device control process part 120 of the server 100 includes an authentication ID managing part 130. The authentication ID managing part 130 includes an authentication ID management chart 131 for managing currently retained authentication IDs. A port control part 310 of the storage device 300 includes an access control part 320. The access control part 320 includes an access control chart 321 showing criteria for permitting access from the server 100.
