IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM, AND IMAGE PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technique capable of providing an appropriate index for performing image processing on RAW images.

SOLUTION: An image processor is capable of reading RAW image data and a tone-converted image obtained by subjecting the RAW image data to γ-correction is displayed in an image display area D1 on a display screen DS. A user is allowed to designate certain points on the image display area D1. When a first point P1 and a second point P2 are designated, the amounts of exposure at the points are calculated on the basis of the RAW image data and a difference between the amounts of exposure is displayed in an exposure difference display area D3. As a result, the user can recognize the difference in amount of exposure between the designated points while viewing the tone-converted image, and so can obtain the appropriate index for performing image processing such as the γ-correction.
