<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express time information related to a content by an image using an index image without adding image data to the index image of the content. <P>SOLUTION: A ratio of a lapsed term from a registration date to a present date to a validity term of the content is set as a weighting coefficient, and the present date is normalized to the registration date and an expiration date. An image processor body edits the index image 22 according to a value of the weighting coefficient such that density of the index image becomes low as the validity term wherein the content remains becomes short.
