PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain thermoplastic resin extruded foam having small reduction in closed cell ratio in foam compression, a uniform foam film and a high-quality appearance in foam containing PTFE powder as a foam nucleus-forming agent. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin extruded foam is thermoplastic resin foam having 0.4-2.2mm average foam diameter and 10-110kg/cm<SP>3</SP>foam density, is obtained by adding 0.01-1.0 part wt. of polytetrafluoroethylene powder to 100 parts wt. of a thermoplastic resin and has an average particle diameter of the polytetrafluoroethylene powder of≥0.5μm and smaller than the average foam film thickness of the foam.
