PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that IPSec is necessary to be set to each mobile PC11 and setting of all the mobile PCs 11 becomes necessary when setting change of a prior shared key is generated, etc. and in addition, this communication terminal can not be connected from a PC or a PDA loading an OS which does not support the IPSec since an IPSec function is provided as service of the OS of the mobile PC11. SOLUTION: The IPSec is realized on a PHS terminal 12 in place of the IPSec of the mobile PC11. Communication data which are not encrypted are transmitted from the mobile PC11 to the PHS terminal 12 through a serial cable 15, the communication data are encrypted on the PHS terminal 12 and secure communication is performed.
