PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defective attraction of an electromagnet constituting a shutter device, which is caused by dust attracted to the attracting face of the electromagnet, and to prevent failure in exposure second time accuracy. SOLUTION: The shutter device includes: a hold member (19) for holding an armature; the electromagnet for attracting an armature; a shutter blade; and a drive member for driving the shutter blade. In a first condition where the electromagnet attracts the armature, the hold member and the drive member (20) are connected. In a second condition where the attraction of the armature by the electromagnet is canceled, the drive member and the hold member are disconnected to allow the armature to come into contact with the electromagnet.
