PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, accurately, surely, liquidtightly and detachably support a water pump on a filtration case and to facilitate operation to assemble the water pump in the filtration case and maintenance thereof in a structure for mounting the water pump of filtration equipment designed to suck water in an aquarium into a filtration chamber, filter the water through a filtration element and return the water into the aquarium. SOLUTION: The subject structure for mounting the water pump is equipped with the following; A mounting recessed part 35 for the pump provided in the bottom wall of the filtration case 1, a mounting protruding part 41 formed in the pump body 40 of the water pump P and watertightly fitted through a plurality of packing rings 43 into the mounting recessed part 35, an engaging groove 38 mutually engaged with an engaging protrusion 48 and formed in the mounting recessed part 35 and the mounting protruding part 41, and further a bearing part 39 which freely rotatably supports the outer end of a pump shaft 45 protruding from the pump body 40 and is installed in the mounting recessed part 35.
