<p>A multiblade fan, comprising a volute casing (21) having a bell mouth-like orifice (22) formed on one side thereof and having a suction port (23) and a discharge port (24), an impeller (25) having, in the casing (21), a plurality of blades (29) pivotally supported, at both axial ends, on a main plate (27) and a side plate (28), and a motor (26) driving the impeller (25). The blades (29) are formed so that the shape of the cross section thereof vertical to the rotating axis is specified in a specified axial length, and a mainstream flows along the rear surface of the blades (29).</p> |
