Preparation of a fiber-strengthened product based on epoxy resin comprises providing fiber material in an unhardened resin mixture based on epoxide resin, maturing the mixture and hardening the mixture by precipitation of the mixture in a shaping tool under pressure. Preparation of a fiber-strengthened product based on epoxy resin comprises providing fiber material in an unhardened resin mixture based on epoxide resin, maturing the mixture and hardening the mixture in by precipitation of the mixture in a shaping tool under pressure, where the resin mixture contains (parts by weight related to sum of all components): at least an epoxy resin (100), at least a polyoxyalkylene amine (1-15), a hardening agent (1-10) of formula M(X)m(N)n (where M is a cation of a complex-forming metal (preferably two or trivalent metal ion), N is a chelate forming ligand (preferably a nitrogen base, like imidazole, benzyl amine or urea derivative), X is an anion (preferably halide, pseudo halide, sulfate, cyanate, rhodanite), m is 1-7 and n is 1-8), fiber material (20-90) and optionally further usual additives. An independent claim is also included for a resin mixture for the production of a fiber-strengthened product based on epoxy resin.
