<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing paper usable for both of electrophotographic recording and ink-jet recording, causing little curl in electrophotographic recording and exerting excellent color development in ink-jet recording, and to provide a method of image formation using the paper. <P>SOLUTION: The printing paper is composed mainly of pulp fiber and a filler and is coated with a treating liquid containing at least starch, wherein, when 0.06 m<SP>2</SP>printing paper is extracted with hot water, the solid amount of extracts is 0.01-0.4 g and the carboxy content in the solid is 0-5 meq/100g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
