BIODEGRADABLE CAP EXCELLENT IN CAP-OPENABILITY, AND CONTAINER WITH BIODEGRADABLE CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which is excellent in sealability and moldability and prevents the production of resin powder in an opening and closing operations even if it is applied to a container composed of a rigid biodegradable resin such as a polylactic acid, and a container with the cap which makes the whole of a packaging container possess biodegradability and is excellent in environmental properties.

SOLUTION: The cap comprises a cap shell which is composed of a top plate and a skirt, and a liner material which is applied to the inner surface of the top plate of the cap shell. In the cap, the cap shell is composed of a resin composition wherein a rigid aliphatic polyester resin (A) and a flexible aliphatic polyester resin (B) are blended at a weight ratio of A:B=20:80-80:20, and the liner material possesses biodegradability.
