<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system capable of designating an area inside print data setting the glossiness, designating the glossiness for each area type, and designating the glossiness for each area. <P>SOLUTION: In this print system provided with a glossiness setting portion selection means and a glossiness setting means by which a user sets a desired glossiness, a color print controller performs printing based on the glossiness set by rasterization for outputting a desired print result when rasterization is not carried out yet on print data sent from a host device.
