SEWAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treatment apparatus constituted so as to prevent the discharge of air containing offensive smell or gas during treatment to the atmosphere along with the purification of sewage centering around domestic wastewater of every kind to put the air containing the offensive smell or gas to practical use in the enhancement of the treatment efficiency of an anaerobic treatment tank.

SOLUTION: The sewage treatment apparatus is composed of the anaerobic treatment tank 2 and a sedimentation and separation tank 4 and the air containing the offensive smell or gas of the tanks 2 and 4 is converted to oxygen scanting air by a gas separation tank 11 and this oxygen scanting air is put to practical use in the stirring of sewage 1 of the anaerobic treatment tank 2.
