摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-shaped, light-weight, highly functional and low-cost semiconductor device and display device by configuring the display device to reduce ground contact areas required for both power supply wirings and ground wirings of functional circuits and also to suppress both voltage drop in the power supply and rise in the ground potential caused by consumption current. SOLUTION: The display device has functional circuits, constituted of thin-film transistors on a single substrate, wherein each of the functional circuits has power supply wirings for supplying power supply voltage to the functional circuit and ground wirings for supplying the ground potential, arranged in a lattice form. Arrangement in a lattice form in this way enables significant reduction in the drop of the power supply voltage and rise in the ground potential. Further, since drop in the power supply voltage and the rise in the ground potential to the same level can be suppressed, as in the cases where the lattice-the arrangement is not a lattice form, even if wiring widths are made narrow, significant reduction in the areas of the arrangements of the power supply wirings and ground wirings of the functional circuit is available.
