PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an appropriate die structure for a newly designed product in the integral viewpoints. SOLUTION: An already existing product is classified into a plurality of product shape patterns, and a die structure in which the patterned product is formed is patterned. Then, the patterned die structure is given a priority order by evaluating information related with such an operating status as safety and productivity and manufacturing conditions. When the die structure in which a newly designed product is molded is decided, the propriety of the design change of the newly designed product such as the abolition of any L-shaped partition or flange is inquired to a designer, and when the design change is possible, the product shape is changed. Also, the change of dimensions such as the change of side folding amounts is operated as necessary. Thus, the design is changed when the design change is possible by inquiring it to the designer, and to finally select the die structure which is high in the integral evaluation of safety, quality and costs, that is, which is high in its priority order.
