PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate white balance by improving display luminance of display pixels of a specified display color whose luminance deterioration is remarkable. SOLUTION: A power control section 6 when deciding that the cumulative drive time of a display panel 1 has reached a set update time acquires a correction voltage value from a panel management register, makes plus correction of the width (application time) of a signal line drive voltage applied to a signal line X wired to display pixels of G and B of the display panel 1 to improve the luminance of the display pixels of G and B, thereby compensating the white balance of the display panel 1.
