PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple assembly method for a cooler, and to improve cooling efficiency in regard to assembly and a cooling system of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: The refrigerator is provided with a refrigeration chamber evaporator 17 composed of a flat cooling plate 18 integrally provided with a cooling pipe 19, a cold air duct 14 covering the refrigeration chamber evaporator 17, a cooling fan 15, and a drip pan 22 below the refrigeration chamber evaporator 17. By using a front and rear of the refrigeration chamber evaporator as air ducts, a cooling area is enlarged. In the drip pan 22, a flange shaped part 24 is provided on a rear wall circumference, it is inserted in a recessed shape part 25 of the inner box 1, vertical and horizontal positions are fixed, and a heat insulating material duct 20 is installed between a drip pan 22 front wall and the cold air duct 14. By blocking the cold air circulating air duct via the heat insulating material duct 20 and a sealing material 26, defrost water is positively recovered, and dew formation in an interior can be prevented.
