PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dump truck capable of precluding contamination with a bumper or objects stacked on the road surface and of establishing simply at low cost the constitution to support a load container on the chassis and also the configuration around the bumper. SOLUTION: The dump truck is equipped with a plate 7 installed in a place behind a dumping shaft 5 for pivoting the load container 2 on the chassis 3 and between the chassis 3 and the container 2 and having a top end hung at the undersurface of the container 2 rotatably round the left-right axis; and a link 11 located behind the dumping shaft 5 and having a bottom end supported on the chassis 3 rotatably round the left-right axis and a top end coupled with the middle part of the plate 7 rotatably round the left-right axis. Further the base end is furnished with a tray 13 hung at the bottom of the plate 7 rotatably round the left-right axis and a receptacle 14 supported on the chassis 3 and receiving the forefront of the tray 13 when the container 2 is not being dumped in such a way as positioned behind the base end and higher than the base end of the tray 13, whereby the contaminant dropped from the plate 7 at the non-dumped time is received.
