PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating whether or not a person has diathesis of asthma and/or allergic rhinitis. SOLUTION: This evaluation method comprises determining a genotype of genetic polymorphism in a prescribed position of a cytoplasmic FMRP Interacting Proteins 2 (CYFIP2) gene which exists on a chromosome 5q33 region and evaluating that the person has diathesis of asthma and/or allergic rhinitis when the person has a specific allele.
