<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which permits high image quality, is capable of satisfactorily stably forming a high-quality image even in the long-time use, causes no filming and has a long life, to provide a developer, to provide a toner vessel and to provide an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The toner contains modified polyester resin (i) as toner binder resin and is prepared by adding fine particles whose average primary particle size is 50 to 500 nm and the bulk density is 0.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more to the surface of base toner whose mass average particle size D4 is 2.5 to 4.5 μm, the ratio D4/Dn of D4 to the number average particle size Dn is 1.01 to 1.25 and the average roundness is 0.93 to 0.99, in the proportion of 0.3 to 5.0 pts.mass with respect to the base toner 100 pts.mass and performing the mixing.
