<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable lower power consumption, in a solid image pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: A current consumption change detector 110 and a power source current supply capacity regulator 120 are provided for every functional part of an image pickup part 10, a column processing part 26, and an output circuit 29. The current consumption change detector 110 detects the power source current consumption in every functional part of the image pickup part 10, the column processing part 26, and the output circuit 29 in actual operation state, each in voltage modes by means of built-in comparators. For the power current supply capacity regulator 120, a power circuit part 102 regulates the current supply capacity of power sources to be supplied to each functional part of the image pickup part 10, the column processing part 26, and the output circuit 29 each independently, based on each detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
