PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing time for deleting data of a nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: A flash memory control part 11 refers to a logical physical address conversion table 13a and detects a physical block address associated with a logical block specified by a deletion request when a data deletion request is made from a host device 2. The flash memory control part 11 accesses a deletion area pointer storage area 13b, and sets an area in which data to be deleted by the data deletion request is stored, that is, an area of 32 pages from the O page to the 31 page of the physical block associated by the physical block address 3 as a virtual deleted area. Then, a data reading request is made by the host device 2, and when a page range for writing data to be read is included in an area indicated by a deleted area pointer, initial value data is output to the host device 2.
