PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for information collection for fault analysis that can collect processing progress information down to a fault state with small overhead. SOLUTION: A plurality of data processing tasks 110-1 and 110-2 run on an arithmetic processing device 101 share a single history recording part 220 on a main storage device 102. While no anomaly is detected in the data processing tasks 110-1 and 110-2, processing progress information about the data processing tasks 110-1 and 110-2 is recorded in a wraparound manner in the history recording part 220. If an anomaly is detected in either data processing task 110-1 or 110-2, the processing progress information recorded in the history recording part 220 is output to an external storage device 103.
