PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new belt winding device which can perform the winding of a belt on a carrying line by using the belt which can repeatedly be used, and in addition, without rotating an article itself. SOLUTION: This belt winding device is equipped with a pair of frame side chuck 20 and a shaft side chuck 30, a carrying roll 40, a frame side tension roller 50 and a shaft side tension roller 60, a stopper 70, and a pair of belt pressing members 80 and 81. In this case, a pair of the frame side chuck 20 and the shaft side chuck 30 hold both ends of the belt 10 in such a manner that the belt 10 may go across a carrying path F. The carrying roll 40 advances and drives the article B until the article B has passed between the frame side chuck 20 and the shaft side chuck 30, and the belt 10 has been wound from the front surface B1 to the right and left side surfaces B2 and B3 of the article B. The frame side tension roller 50 and the shaft side tension roller 60 impart a tension to the belt 10 which has been wound around the article B. The stopper 70 regulates the retracting position of the article B by coming into contact with the article B which retracts on the carrying path F by the tension of the belt 10. A pair of the belt holding members 80 and 81 make the belt 10 closely joined to the right and left side surfaces B2 and B3 of the article B. With the belt pressed by the belt pressing members 80 and 81, both end sections of the belt 10 is fastened and fixed on the rear surface B4 side of the article. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
