<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel a machine tool so as to enable furthermore greater flexibility when disposing a cutting conveyor without increasing the space required for installation of the machine tool and the cutting conveyor. <P>SOLUTION: The machine tool (10) has a machine base (11), a working space (14) where a workpiece (13) is machined in the interior, and a device (25) which receives and transfers the chips (24) generated in machining of the workpiece (13) from the working space (14). At least one tunnel (31, 33) which is provided to receive one end (39) of the cutting conveyor (38) is provided in the machine base (11), and the tunnel extends to at least under the device (25) and upwardly opened (28) there. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
