PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging device having high shock absorption effects. SOLUTION: The inner surface Sa of a buffer member S abuts against the outer circumferential surface of the lower part 4a, and the outer surface Sb of the buffering member S abuts against the inner circumferential surface of a case C. Thus, in the event that the imaging device is dropped, or the like, the impact force from the case C is weakened and transmitted to a mirror frame 4, and damage to it is prevented. Furthermore, when a normal line L is drawn to an optical axis X from the inner surface of the case C in the cross sectional drawing of the lens 1a of an optical member 1, in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis, the buffering member S is arranged so that it breaks at the position P where the normal line L crosses the case C, and the mirror frame 4 can be made to get as close as possible to the case C, without contacting it.
