PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electronic mails having the same content from being retransmitted even if hardware malfunctions or software malfunctions occur in a system that is extended from a data detection terminal to a data receiving terminal. SOLUTION: Data on each customer are stored in a transmission data table 2b provided to a database server 2 (S1). A mail transmission program 3 reads in the required information from the transmission data table 2b when the electronic mails are transmitted (S2). The mail transmission program 3 stores the information read from the transmission data table 2b in the check table 2c of a database software 2a (S3). The database server 2 checks the information stored in the check table 2c concerning its duplication, comparing the information with each other (S4), and when it is found that no duplication is present, the information stored in the check table 2c is read out (S6), and the electronic mails are transmitted (S8).
