HEAT PUMP DEVICE AND DRYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump device capable of easily detecting abnormality of water supply to a water-cooled heat exchanger used for water-cooling of a heat pump without providing water meter in particular and a dryer using the heat pump device. SOLUTION: The heat pump device has the water-cooled heat exchanger 13 for absorbing heat from refrigerant entering in a capillary tube 10, a water quantity adjusting valve 15 for adjusting quantity of cooling water supplied to the water-cooled heat exchanger 13, temperature sensors 25, 26 or 27 for detecting temperature of cooling water of the water-cooled heat exchanger 15 or temperature of refrigerator flowing through the water-cooled heat exchanger and a controller for controlling the water quantity adjusting valve 15. The controller 20 judges abnormality of water supply to the water-cooled heat exchanger 13 based on a controlling state of the water quantity adjusting valve 15 and change in temperature detected by the temperature sensors in the controlling state.
