PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight and size of a transmission. SOLUTION: A transmission 1 comprises a rotary shaft SM pivoted by a case 2, and a plurality of drive gears G1-G6 born on rotary shafts S1 and S2. It comprises a support shaft 3 fixed to the case 2, an arm part 7B where a positioning part 8bB is provided to a prescribed position, and a selecting part 6B capable of selecting either gears G2 or G4 for shifting step. It also comprises a shift fork 4B slidably fitted to the support shaft 3, a positioning member 11B for positioning the shaft fork 4B at a prescribed position by elastically pressurizing, for engagement, from one side to the positioning part 8bB provided to the arm part 7B, and a cancel member 13B which cancels the moment acting on the arm part 7B by elastic pressurizing of the positioning means 11B.
