PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a configuration image generated from a volume data file together with functional information in a medical image display device. SOLUTION: The medical image display device comprises a storage part 1 for storing a plurality of volume data files on a subject, a search part 2 for specifying a desired first volume data file among the plurality of volume data files, a search part 3 for specifying a second volume data file with almost the same subject and imaged region as those of the first volume data file, a data loading part 4 for reading the first and second volume data files from the storage part, a functional information calculation part 7 for calculating the functional information from the second volume data file, an image rendering unit 8 for generating a configuration image from the first volume data file and applying color information to the configuration information according to the functional information, and a display part 15 for displaying the configuration information in color.
