PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting and dismounting of a wheel even when lifting the vehicle by a jack. SOLUTION: In this wheel mounting and dismounting auxiliary device, a wheel mounting and dismounting detection part detects start of mounting and dismounting work of the wheel. When the wheel mounting and dismounting detection part detects the start of mounting and dismounting work of the wheel and a stop condition detection part detects a stop condition of the vehicle, a holding control part holds the wheel. The wheel mounting and dismounting detection part detects the lifting of the wheel by the jack. A determining part determines the wheel lifted by the jack.
