PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel attitude angle measuring device and a method therefor capable of deciding the value of the attitude angle at which the characteristics of the lateral forces generated in the front and rear wheels are in further approximation, in case the attitude angle of each wheel is to be adjusted on the basis of the characteristics of the lateral forces generated in the wheels. SOLUTION: The wheel attitude angle measuring device computes the varying energy sums E<SB>A</SB>" and E<SB>B</SB>" on the basis of the fore-and-aft force varying rate d<SB>Fx</SB>and the lateral force varying rate d<SB>Fy</SB>generated in the reference wheel RL and computes the reference wheel referring attitude angle (toe angle T<SB>BR</SB>). Further the wheel attitude angle measuring device computes the non-reference wheel referring attitude (toe angle T<SB>NBR</SB>) of a non-reference wheel FL and computes the toe angle T<SB>NBA</SB>to be set on the non-reference wheels on the basis of the difference between the toe angle T<SB>BR</SB>and the toe angle T<SB>I</SB>and also the toe angle T<SB>NBR</SB>.
