PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner provided with an air amount switching device having a compact structure. SOLUTION: In an air amount switching device 13, first to third three hollow conical members 50, 40, 30 having an outer shape of truncated cone shape are superposed, circular upper openings 54, 44 34 and lower openings 59, 49, 39 are provided on upper and lower surfaces of the conical members 50, 40, 30 and oblique openings 56, 46, 36 are provided on slant surfaces 55, 45, 35. Two arm members 21, 21 are erected from the lower part of the first conical member 50, an air amount adjustment dial 22 is mounted on the arm members 21, 21 and a deflection unit 15 is fitted to the air amount adjustment dial 22 from an upper part.
