PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit shock acting on an upper impact bar having a large constraint to the whole of an inner panel as much as possible to display high shock absorbing and dispersing function. SOLUTION: The inner panel 12 is provided with a rear reinforcement 15. The reinforcement 15 has a flange part 15b joined to the inner panel 12, a connecting wall part 15c projecting toward an outer panel from the flange part 15b, and a mounting part 15d extended to a side edge of the outer panel of the connecting wall part 15c to receive an upper impact bar 20. A swollen part 150 swelling to the front is formed at a portion facing to the upper impact bar 20 of at least the connecting wall part 15c in the vehicle width direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
