PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali ion water generator which does not require a space for fitting a motor-operated valve generally used as a flow rate controlling means and driving electric power, and with which a user can easily know the amount of electric power and the amount of waste water to be drained. SOLUTION: A drain pipe 15 is connected with a waste water stand 23; the flow rate of waste water flowing through a waste water path 30 is varied by rotating a rotor 24; the variable quantity is detected by a movement detection element 27, and the amount of electrolytic power and the ratio between discharge water and waste water at this time are displayed in a display part for the amount of electrolytic power and the ratio between discharge water and waste water in an indicator.
