PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which washes dishes etc. by jetting washing water and includes a washing tub constituted by using neither welding nor a sealing material, prevents water from leaking by recovering water between the washing tub and the dishwasher body even when water leaks out from the upper part of the washing tub, and is manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A washing tub 10 is provided inside a dish washer body 11. An upper part of the washing tub 10 is constituted of an upper face constituting member 13. At least a side face of the washing tub 10 is constituted of a washing tub member 12. A shield rib 30 is disposed in the upper face constituting member 13 at the inner side of the washing tub member 12 than a first abutting face 23 abutting on the upper end part of the washing tub member 12.
