<p>The hand of the user of an Allen key (1) has to apply strong forces on the segment (11, 12) held because of its specific shape. Frequent handling can result in the creation of callused areas. The new design of an Allen key (1) is fitted with a least two soft covers (2, 3) matching the sizes of the longer (11) and the shorter segment (12). The cover (2, 3) can be pre-shaped or forced by expansion onto the hexagonal mantle of the tool (1). It can also be joined by shrink fitting.</p> |
