<p>The base is assembled of a basic layer (1) of a rigid Styrofoam(RTM), an adhesion promoting layer (8), a glue (9) suitable for fixing tiles (10), and an upper layer, which can be a shower tray or tiles (10) joined in a position sloping towards a waste outlet (2). The basic layer (1) has a surrounding groove (6) close to its outer edge (4) for more stability. The density of the adhesion promoting layer (8) is selected in order to prevent an interference with the adhesive quality the by the vertical forces acting on the area. The layer (8) is waterproof and can be reinforced with a mesh or individual fibers.</p> |
