The hydraulic steering device comprises a steering column connected to the steering wheel and to a hydraulic steering gear by a hydraulic boost device (5) and superimposition device (4) which are arranged structurally spaced from the steering gear (6) in the column (3). The boost device and superimposition device can form a steering module (8) mounted between sections of the steering column.
