This invention concerns equipment for compression of forest raw material in the unprocessed state and preferably unpruned timber. In order to manage the forest raw material in a rational manner it is often advantageous to transport the material unprocessed to a central processing facility, yet this has proven to be very difficult and not very profitable with known techniques, because of the fact that the transport of unpruned timber which is very bulky and has a low proportion of solid mass can only achieve a low utilisation of the cargo capacity of the transport vehicle. In order to solve this problem, the invention proposes a compression equipment for unpruned timber which contains telescopic supports 3 secured in pairs in a framework 1, each of them provided with flaps 9 that can extend and retract at their upper part. <IMAGE> |
