Glazed assembly with lighting

A glazed assembly comprises a lighting channel 6, 7 provided as part of an elongate glazing component. The lighting channel 6, 7 extends in an eaves region or a roof region of the assembly. The glazing component may be capable of interengaging with and supporting another glazing component such as a glazing bar, especially with a variable angle of attachment between the two components. The lighting channel 6, 7 may be provided with a removable or openable cover 10, 11. The glazing component may have more than one lighting channel 6, 7. The lighting channel 6, 7 may accommodate a light source 8 which may be an electric bulb or tube. The light source 8 may be continuous over the length of the channel 6, 7 or may comprise a series of connected light sources 8. The glazing component may also accommodate a power source for the light source 8, especially within the channel 6, 7.
