<p>The monitoring device includes a sensor for detecting the sorted single grains. The sensor interacts with an evaluating program filed in the memory of the monitoring unit. At least one speed sensor (10) is used to detect the speed of at least one of the single sorting members (2) and sends the measured signals to the monitoring device (12). The maximum permissible speeds of the single sorting members for the different seeds can be filed in the memory so that on reaching or exceeding same an alarm is triggered.</p>
